The upper is made of soft and supple kangaroo leather, just as it should be on a pair of Nike Tiempo Legends. Equipped with ACC technology to keep your feet as dry as possible, even in the kangaroo leather. The second layer before your feet is a mesh material, which ensures that your feet dry 24% faster and also absorb 73% less water than the Legend IV. Additionally, the entire construction is supported by the Tricot Weave material, which gives a suede-like feel inside the boot. Nike has named this technology Nike Hypershield Tech, and you won’t find better protection from the elements than in a pair of Legend Vs.

The boot features Poron in the sole for excellent shock absorption, and the stud configuration provides fantastic grip and acceleration from the grass. It also has a solid internal heel counter that protects your feet from kicks and knocks from opponents.

Incredibly, Nike has still managed to shave off some weight. It’s actually 8% lighter than its predecessor, so even though the boot has been optimized and improved, this has not affected the weight.
